'7 Habits' Author Stephen R. Covey Dies
Stephen R. Covey, author of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, died July 16 at the age of 79 from injuries sustained in an April bicycle accident. 7 Habits was published in 1989 and has sold over 20 million copies to date and has been published in 38 languages.

Obituary: Lowell Farley
Former book publicist Lowell Farley died July 3. He was 81. Farley, with his late wife Edna, ran one of the foremost book publicity firms in the country out of his Fort Lauderdale home base. According to one publisher, the pair "pioneered the now-accepted work-from-home business mode."
