    Tony Schulte, whose long career in publishing included top spots with Simon & Schuster and Knopf, drowned while swimming in a lake at his summer home in Rangeley, Me. He was 82.

    Shawn Morin has been named chief operating officer of Ingram, effective immediately. Morin joined the company in 2009 and has served as chief information officer since then.
