‘n+1’ Reteams with McNally Jackson for Annual Fundraiser
Literary magazine n+1 has partnered with indie bookseller McNally Jackson to launch the sixth edition of its Bookmatch fundraiser. Through Bookmatch, which runs through December 2, the public can make donations of any size to the magazine and receive a link to a literary quiz, the responses to which generate a customized 10-book reading list curated by select authors and n+1 editors and contributors. Quiz-takers receive a discount to purchase books on their custom list from McNally Jackson.
This year's guest recommenders include Lauren Groff, Pico Iyer, John Early, Richard Hell, Raven Leilani, Jia Tolentino, Sloane Crosley, and Tony Tulathimutte.
“The internet is an oppressive place these days, at once extremely evil and unmistakably robotic,” says Mark Krotov, publisher and co-editor of n+1, in a statement. “So this year I’m especially grateful for the warm and homespun delights of Bookmatch—the literary quiz that soothes the soul and leaves you with enough excellent book recommendations to spend your 2026 entirely offline.”
