Books-A-Million Announces Inaugural Book of the Year

Books-A-Million (BAM) has named Dungeon Crawler Carl (Ace) by Matt Dinniman as its inaugural Book of the Year. The honor recognizes the title that “best embodies the joy of reading and the enthusiasm of BAM’s team,” per the national book chain.

“I’ve never played video games or even though about DnD, but I fell completely in love with Dungeon Crawler Carl,” Olivia McDaniel, BAM’s VP of marketing, said in a statement. “It’s the most fun I’ve ever had reading. No matter what kind of reader you are, this book is for you.”

To celebrate the occasion, BAM will also unveil its annual Top 100-ish Gifts for the Holidays, a selection of the year’s most popular books, exclusive items, and more.
