Books BC Launches ‘Read Local’ Book Boxes

The Association of Book Publishers of British Columbia, or Books BC, has launched three limited-edition Read Local BC Book Boxes, with support from Creative BC.

The book boxes seek to celebrate British Columbian indie book publishers and Canadian authors this holiday season, per the organization. Each box has been curated by a local indie bookseller and is dedicated to a specific theme, such as Indigenous voices, locally-inspired cookbooks, and eco-consciousness presented for early readers. Featured publishers include Arsenal Pulp Press, Greystone Kids, Heritage House, TouchWood Editions, and Talonbooks, among others.

The Read Local BC Book Boxes will be available through December 5, or as supplies last.
