HarperCollins Breaks Ground on Indiana Supply Chain Facility

HarperCollins has broken ground on its new 1.6 million-square-foot supply chain logistics facility in Brownsburg, Ind., slated to open in 2028. To celebrate the groundbreaking, Indiana Governor Mike Braun joined Brian Murray, president and CEO of HarperCollins, at a ceremony.

The facility marks a new chapter for HarperCollins, which has been outsourcing its distribution and logistics services since 2010, and could substantially expand its distribution capabilities. Once completed, the site will have the capacity to ship more than 300 million books annually to more than 100 countries around the world, according to the publisher, and is expected to create more than 400 supply chain logistics jobs.
