Baker Publishing Group Acquires Lexham Press
Baker Publishing Group has acquired Lexham Press, the in-house publishing division of Logos. According to the Christian publishing house, this “strategic acquisition” deepens the relationship between the two companies while expanding Baker’s “portfolio of academic and Christian living content,” per a press release.
As part of the acquisition, Baker will gain access to Lexham’s “publishing expertise” and content catalog, while Logos can “dedicate full attention to enhancing its industry-leading digital Bible study platform.” Logos will retain the rights to Lexham Press content within Logos, ensuring that these titles will continue to appear in Logos’s library bundles.
“I know firsthand the depth, rigor, and value of titles published by Lexham Press,” Jesse Myers, president and CEO of Baker Publishing Group, said in a statement. “I’m excited to boraden the reach of Lexham’s work under the Baker umbrella.”
Baker will welcome Lexham alongside its established imprints, including Baker Books, Revell, Brazos Press, Bethany House, Chosen, and Baker Academics.
