
NYU Opens Registration for Advanced Publishing Institute
New York University’s Center for Publishing, Writing, and Media has announced that registration for its third annual Advanced Publishing Institute (NYU API) is now open. The program is “designed for current mid- to senior-level book publishing professionals,” according to a press release, and will take place January 5–9, 2026 at the university’s Greenwich Village campus.
Speakers at NYU API include Jonathan Yaged, CEO of Macmillan; Helena Gustafsson, CCO and publisher of Storytel Group; Aman Kochar, CEO of Baker & Taylor; and Keith Riegert, president of the Stable Book Group and publisher of Ulysses Press and Perfect Bound, among others. The program will also cover such topics as consumer tastes and trends, optimizing niche markets, the power of newsletters, and the rise of audiobooks.
An early-bird registration discount will be available through October 13.
