Random House Nabs George Harrison Photo Book

Andy Ward at Random House has secured world English rights to The Third Eye, a book of George Harrison’s personal photography, from agent David Rosenthal. Publication is slated for fall 2026. The book will be edited by the Beatles guitarist’s widow Olivia Harrison (pictured), and will feature 250-plus photographs—the majority of which are previously unpublished—of the Beatles during the years 1963-1969, per Random House.

George Saunders and Colm Tóibín will pen an epilogue and introduction, respectively. “Books like this sure don’t come along very often,” Ward said. “It’s a window into the mind of a truly great artist ... and a deeply personal record of a transformative cultural moment.”
