Inklore to Publish Manhua Adaptation of Heaven Official’s Blessing
Rebecca Taylor at Inklore and Kate McHale at Inklore UK acquired world English rights to the official print manhua adaptation of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s hit web novel series Heaven Official's Blessing from Bilibili Comics. The adaptation is illustrated by STARember and, per the publisher, "follows a fallen god and his mysterious companion as they unravel supernatural mysteries and confront the darkest secret of the heavenly court." Inklore and Inklore UK will begin copublishing the print editions of Heaven Official's Blessing (The Comic) this fall.
Heaven Official’s Blessing, an century-spanning fantasy saga, was originally published on Jinjiang Literature City, a major Chinese-language platform for serializing web novels, and became a hugely popular danmei series—a genre centered on romantic relationships between male characters. Its print comic adaptation will be edited by Inklore's Logan Balestrino.
Inklore is an imprint of Random House Worlds publishing focused on both licensed and original manga, manhwa, manhua, webcomics, and graphic novels.
