Amazon Books has named its Best Books of the Year So Far, with Charlotte McConahgy’s thriller Wild Dark Shore topping the list.

“Our top pick of the year so far, Wild Dark Shore, is a novel that masterfully evoked each of these emotions in our team, and beautifully highlights the imperfections of human nature even when we have the best intentions,” said Amazon Books editorial director Sarah Gelman in a statement.

  1. Wild Dark Shore by Charlotte McConaghy
  2. King of Ashes by S.A. Cosby
