  • The Big Ten Academic Alliance has inked a two-year Open Publishing Agreement with Springer Nature, offering all authors across participating institutions unlimited open access publishing in Springer’s hybrid journals portfolio.
  • Paradigm Publishing Services will digitize previously out-of-print titles for the Yale University Press catalog going back to 1908.
  • IDW Publishing and Entertainment will join Sweet Shop ahead of the app’s upcoming launch set for later this summer.
  • Heritage Group Distribution will relocate its distribution and fulfillment services in Surrey, British Columbia, to HGD at Fraser Direct, located in Guelph, Ontario. May 31 will be the last day for outbound shipments from Surrey, and there will be no outbound shipping from approximately June 2–14 to allow for the physical transfer of inventory and setup for HGD at Fraser Direct. Shipping is tentatively scheduled to resume from Fraser Direct on June 15. HGD remains the vendor of record for Heritage House, Rocky Mountain Books, and TouchWood Editions.
