Bruce J. Miller Memorial Service Set for May 16

A memorial service and internment for Bruce Joshua Miller, the principal of Miller Trade Book Marketing and PW Rep of the Year in 2013, will be held at Union Cemetery in Maplewood, Minn. on Friday, May 16, at 3 pm CT.

Miller, 70, died on January 11 in Chicago of an intestinal condition he'd struggled with for years. Speakers at the service will include Doug Armato, director of the University of Minnesota Press; Claire Kirch of PW; Eric Miller of the 3ibooks literary agency; author Mark Crispin Miller; and Hilary Reeves, formerly the managing director of Milkweed Editions. Ice Cube Press publisher Steve Semken will give the eulogy. 

A reception will follow at 4 pm CT at the Drury Plaza Hotel in downtown St. Paul.
