Aparna Rishi to Lead Marketing Operations at HBG

Aparna Rishi has joined Hachette Book Group as executive director of consumer engagement and marketing operations. In her new role, Rishi will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and execution of consumer engagement initiatives, with a particular focus on content marketing strategies, brand partnerships, and audience development. She will also lead HBG’s strategic efforts to refine marketing KPIs as well as best practices for digital marketing growth.

Most recently, Rishi served as director of consumer strategy and creative operations at the Random House Group, where she led digital marketing strategies, overseeing email, web, and social media programs, as well as the creative operations team.

“Aparna has led high-performing cross-functional teams and is a skilled collaborator and communicator,” Leigh Marchant, SVP and chief marketing officer at HBG, said in a statement. “Her adeptness at market research and using data and analysis to drive marketing strategy will surely be an asset for our team.”
