IPA Announces New Appointments to Key Committees

The International Publishers Association (IPA) has announced several key committee appointments among recent leadership changes.

Catherine Blache of SNE, France, has been elected to chair the International Publishers Association's Membership Committee, replacing Giovanni Hoepli, who previously announced his intention to step down following his election as IPA Vice President at last year's General Assembly.

The IPA's Freedom to Publish Committee has added John McKay from the Association of American Publishers (AAP), who takes over from Matt Stratton. Additionally, Paulo Oliveira of Porto Editora, Portugal, will join the IPA Executive Committee, succeeding Pedro Sobral of Leya, Portugal, who passed away in December.
