
John Morgan Joins GCP as Executive Editor
John Morgan has joined Grand Central Publishing as executive editor, focusing on SFF, horror, and adjacent fiction categories.
Morgan most recently served as executive editor at Marvel Press, a division of Disney Publishing. He has also held editorial positions at DC, Penguin, Macmillan, Melcher Media, and Berkley, where he acquired the Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris which went on to become the HBO series True Blood. In addition, he has held roles in the video game industry and digital publishing.
In his new role, he reports to GCP SVP and editor-in-chief Colin Dickerman.
