St. Martin's Tweaks Editorial Structure
In an effort to streamline its acquisition process, St. Martin's Publishing Group has promoted Sarah Cantin to VP and editorial director for fiction, while Marc Resnick will continue as VP and editorial director, focusing on nonfiction.
The change in duties was initiated by SMP editor-in-chief George Witte, who wrote that the small restructuring was done "in order to streamline our acquisition process and publishing strategy." Witte added that Cantin and Resnick "have established records of commercial success in their respective areas."
Among the authors Cantin has worked with are Emilia Hart, Rachel Hawkins, Jessica George, Carola Lovering, and Laurie Albanese. Resnich has worked with Jocko Willink, Tom Clavin, and Cameron Haynes, as well as publishing an array of bestselling music, sports, and military books.
