The aggregation of more than 6,000 spring book listings submitted by publishers to PW via Above the Treeline’s Edelweiss tool are live as of this morning. The PW January 24 print issue contains selected highlights of the season, but the full season is now viewable and browsable online at http://announcements.publishersweekly.com/.
PW readers are encouraged to take a look at this deep portrait of the coming season. The site contains titles from nearly 400 publishers and 600 imprints, which can be sorted by using the tabs you will find at the left of the screen--by publisher, imprint, pub month, format, subject, and category. There is also a tab for the top 10 titles selected by PW editors in each of 19 categories. Note that in some cases, not all 10 titles chosen by our editors were submitted to Edelweiss; hence, some categories have less than 10. Publishers were invited to submit their Feb. 1-July 31, 2011 titles.
