HarperCollins Christian Publishing has promoted Shannon Droge to VP for publishing, creative, and digital operations. She will also maintain her current roles managing editorial, data integrity, and composition for books and Bibles, the company announced July 9.
Droge began her career at at HCCP’s Zondervan division in 1998 in sales and rose through several positions in operations to become senior director by 2022, at which point she began overseeing the content design team as well. In her new role, she will continue overseeing mission-critical operations, with Amanda Slaton, senior director of content operations, reporting to her. Droge and Slaton will also collaborate with the IT and Finance divisions on AI adoption and organizational transformation, according to the press release. Droge's teams will also provide creative support for Thomas Nelson and Zondervan book and Bible products.
Bob Edington, senior VP of content operations and supply chain, called Droge an extraordinary and innovative leader whose “deep understanding of publishing and her ability to bring teams together are invaluable as we continue our operational transformation.”
