Former Unbound head of rights Ilona Chavasse, publicity director Rina Gill, and marketing manager Divia Kainth have teamed to launch the London-based publishing agency Tiger Team Creative. The three veterans of the U.K. crowdfunding publisher, which filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, have signed bestselling British author Melanie Blake as their first client.

Both Chavasse and Gill also held positions at Unbound’s successor company, Boundless, as head of rights and director of communications, respectively.

Tiger Team Creative offers bespoke services for independent authors and publishers, including sales representation, distribution and e-commerce solutions, PR, events, marketing and metadata optimization, editorial and content development, rights and licensing, and consultancy packages for authors preparing to self-publish or looking to boost their current titles. The agency also provides support with cover design, printing solutions, digital publishing and digital advertising.

"The media landscape has changed irreversibly,” said the agency in a statement. “There are no more PR silver bullets and even the best campaigns don’t always result in top sales. Real success happens when every element works together in a totally integrated way. That’s what we do—with insight, agility, energy and a deep shorthand that comes from our experience as former colleagues and our shared values.”
