Random House's Hydra Imprint Announces Debut Titles
Hydra, the first digital science fiction and fantasy imprint of the Random House Publishing Group, announced today the acquisition of three new titles for its digital publishing program. All works were acquired by Hydra associate editor Sarah Peed. The titles are: Blackwater Lights by Michael M. Hughes, The Faceless One by Mark Onspaugh, and Apocalyptic Organ Grinder by William Todd Rose.

Random House, Zinczenko Sign Book and Imprint Deal
Random House has announced a multi-platform content agreement with David Zinczenko, the bestselling health author and former editor of Men's Health. Zinczenko joins Random House's Ballantine Bantam Dell division as an author with a three-book deal. In addition, Zinczenko's company, Galvanized Brands, will establish a new lifestyle book publishing imprint with Random House called Zinc Ink, which will publish six to twelve general nonfiction titles per year, beginning in 2014.
