Meghan Cassidy is joining the Free Press publicity department as senior publicist. Cassidy comes from Widmeyer Communications, where she was a senior account executive handling the public relations efforts for education initiatives and philanthropic organizations. Prior to working at Widmeyer Communications, Cassidy worked in the Random House publicity department.
Nicole De Jackmo has been named publicity manager for Quirk Books where she is responsible for managing the marketing and publicity for the publisher’s front and backlist titles. She was most recently at Running Press as a senior publicist where she worked on bestselling campaigns for Kathie Lee Gifford and Teresa Giudice. Prior to joining Running Press she was a publicist at Simon & Schuster.
