Valiant Entertainment, the character-based entertainment company with more than 1,500 characters in its library, including X-O Manowar, Harbinger, Bloodshot and Shadowman, announced the appointment of franchise producer and transmedia pioneer Jeff Gomez as Transmedia producer & creative consultant. Gomez has consulted extensively on such blockbuster properties as Avatar, Transformers, Halo and Pirates of the Caribbean.
Kris Vreeland is joining Once Upon A Time, America's Oldest Children's bookstore in Montrose, California. Vreeland's primary role will be coordinating events and community outreach for the store. She was formerly the manager and book buyer for the Children's department at Vroman's Bookstore in Pasadena.
