Random House CEO Markus Dohle has been named to the National Book Foundation's board of directors. The title comes with a three-year term. Dohle has been at RH since 2008 and in his role oversees the U.S, Canadian, German, British, Australian, Spanish and Latin American divisions of the company. Before heading up RH, Dohle was CEO of the Bertelsmann company, Mohn Media Group. Dohle is also a member of the executive board of Bertelsmann AG.
Jon Rosenberg has taken a job at BrownTrout Publishing overseeing the management team that heads up the company's creative division. Rosenberg was most recently head of the licensed publishign business for MGM Studios and will start at BrownTrout on June 6.
