At Picador, James Meader has been promoted to executive director of publicity. Meader joined Picador in 2002 and has most recently overseen the paperback publicity campaigns for Atul Gawande’s The Checklist Manifesto and David Finkel’s The Good Soldiers, as well as paperback originals The Collected Stories of Deborah Eisenberg and Wesley Stace’s just published Charles Jessold, Considered as a Murderer. Meader also oversees publicity for many of Picador publisher Frances Coady’s hardcovers.
