Abrams has promoted six employees and hired one. Jason Wells has been promoted to executive director of children’s marketing and publicity; Tamar Brazis has been promoted to editorial director of Abrams Books for Young Readers and Amulet Books; Liana Allday has been promoted to senior editor for Stewart, Tabori & Chang; Maggie Lehrman has been promoted to senior editor for Abrams Books for Young Readers; Melissa Arnst has been promoted to designer; and Caitlin Kenney has been promoted to assistant editor for Abrams. Finally, Meagan Bennett has joined Abrams Books for Young Readers as associate art director for publisher’s new 0–5 program.
At Chronicle, Daniel Hastings has been hired as executive producer of Chronicle’s Dynamic Digital division, which handles the publisher’s digital products including apps and e-books. Kim Lauber, formerly of Penguin Young Readers Group, has joined Chronicle as children’s marketing manager. Catherine Cole is the new web production coordinator; Holden Hardcastle is the new Dynamic Digital production coordinator; and Kerri Suzanne Kyle, who formerly worked at Borders, is now digital coordinator. Ally Lee has been hired as national accounts assistant, mass markets; Andrew LeValley is the new distribution client assistant; and Kate Willsky has been hired as editorial assistant.
