Peter Kay, formerly v-p, product development in the music and logo group of MTV, has joined Norton to take on a newly created position as director, digital marketing and strategy. Kay will work on developing new methods of reaching, engaging with, and building Norton’s readers. He will work with Norton’s trade, college, and professional books divisions. Prior to MTV, Kay was director of interactive media at Random House Audio and Information Publishing, where he oversaw digital strategy and Web initiatives for Fodor’s Travel, Living Language, and Books on Tape.
