Rabbi Barry L. Schwartz has been hired as CEO of the Jewish Publication Society. Schwartz was most recently senior rabbi at Congregation M’kor Shalom in Cherry Hill, N.J., for 11 years. He is the author of four books and has published scholarly articles in the Journal of Reform Judaism, American Jewish History, and the Hebrew Union College Annual. JPS has published biblical, scholarly, and popular Jewish works in English for more than 122 years.
Vivian Antonangeli has joined remainder and bargain-priced books distributor World Publications as key account sales lead. Antonangeli has held leadership positions at Reader's Digest, Scholastic, Random House, Brighter Minds Media, and Riverdeep, Inc. In her new role, she will work on distributing both World Publication’s proprietary print and remainder product inventories. She will work at the company’s headquarters in East Bridgewater, Mass.
