Heidi Graynor has been promoted to v-p, sales administration, at Penguin Group. Graynor started her career at Putnam in 1983 and was most recently director of sales administration. She organizes Penguin’s three corporate sales conferences and handles BEA and other trade shows Penguin attends.
Miriam Farbey has been named global publisher, nonfiction, for the Scholastic Trade Publishing division. In this newly created position, Farbey will oversee all children’s nonfiction publishing in the trade division, working across Scholastic’s domestic and international children’s book distribution channels. Farbey assumed her new responsibilities June 1 and reports to Ellie Berger, president of Scholastic’s trade publishing division.
