John Wicker has been named publishing segment head of the North American Consulting Media & Information Services group of the global consulting firm Tata Consultancy Services. TCS specializes in helping companies cut costs as they migrate to a digital business model. Wicker was most recently executive v-p of sales of Klopotek.
The Random House Publishing Group has appointed Toby Ernst domestic rights manager. Most recently sub rights manager at Sterling Publishing, Ernst will report to Denise Cronin, v-p, director of sub rights for RHPG.
