Ron Schlosser has been appointed chairman and CEO of Haights Cross Communications. Schlosser, most recently a senior advisor to Providence Equity Partners, held executive positions with several information and educational companies including Jones & Bartlett, Edline and Thomson Learning Group. With Schlosser’s appointment, Paul Crecca, who served as interim president and CEO since August 2007, will return to the position of CFO, a position he held from January 1998 to August 2007. Crecca played a key role in helping HCC restructure its finances and businesses.
