Random House corporate has promoted three employees. Ranjana Wingender has been named director, corporate development, effective immediately, succeeding Nina von Moltke, whom she worked under for two years. Wingender will initiate and contribute to activities that will evaluate potential for growth, enhance business processes, and support financial performance.
Thomas Lueke has been promoted to manager, corporate development, reporting to Wingender. Lueke will work on RH's corporate development responsibilities, strategic projects, and business planning.
Milena Alberti is moving into the newly created position of v-p, mergers and acquisitions, reporting to CFO Anne Davis. Alberti will be responsible for identifying and evaluating existing businesses which can strengthen and complement Random's print and digital publishing and increase its market share in both. Alberti was most recently director of Spanish language publishing at Vintage Español.
