    Senior editor at Farrar, Straus, and Giroux Paul Elie will join the Georgetown University faculty as a senior fellow with the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs, working out of New York.

    Kirkus Media has named Meg LaBorde Kuehn chief operating officer. Her promotion comes as part of an expansion within the company, which is known for its pre-publication reviews of books geared to the library market, into the author services area.
