    At becker&mayer!, Stephanie Swane has been promoted to director of sales and licensing and Barney Duly has joined as international sales manager.

    At HMH, Ken Carpenter, currently v-p editorial director, Mariner and also director of Tolkien Projects, now adds editorial director, CliffsNotes to his title, with Cliffs executive editor Greg Tubach reporting to him. Also at HMH, Deanne Urmy has been promoted to senior executive editor. Rux Martin has assumed the title of editorial director, Rux Martin Books.
