  • Madefire Secures $5.2M in Funding

    Madefire, a digital authoring and display platform for creating “Motion Books,” or partially animated multimedia digital comics, announced that it has received $5.2 million in Series A Funding led by True Ventures.

  • Viz Manga Comes to Kindle Store

    Viz Media, a U.S.-based manga publisher and anime distributor, announced a deal to make its entire catalog of digital manga available through the Amazon Kindle Store. Beginning today, more than 1,500 volumes are available for download for about $6.99 each.
