Amazon to Create 70,000 Seasonal Jobs
Amazon said it will create more than 70,000 full-time seasonal jobs across its U.S. fulfillment centers this holiday season in order to meet an increase in customer demand, a 40% increase over last year.

Obituary: Nancy Stitchberry Farley (1939-2013)
The co-owner of Farley’s Bookshop in New Hope, Pa., died on September 23; she was 73. A former elementary school teacher, she founded the bookstore with her husband, Jim, in 1967.
