FT Press today unveiled a new series of e-books called Insights for the Agile Investor, published via its digital imprint, FT Press Delivers. The books offer what FT Press describes as “focused and brief insights for individual and professional investors.”

Titles on the run between 4,000 and 5,000 words each, and four are available now: Investing in Neglected Stocks by Scott Phillips, The Perfect Swing Trading Alternative by Michael C. Thomsett, Adjusting Margin and Risk by Carley Garner, and Practical Considerations in Picking the Covered Call by Michael C. Thomsett. By the end of the year, 20 titles will be available. Titles are priced between $5.99 and $14.99, depending on whether the content is aimed at the average investor, is general or technical, or is aimed at institutional and professional traders.

FT Press senior marketing manager Julie Phifer said investors who are looking to earn consistent trading profits in today’s market “need to continuously educate themselves on the best trading strategies and techniques available.” She said titles in the series are “meant to be read quickly so that traders apply the strategies right away.” Topics for forthcoming titles include options, value investing, futures, commodities, and technical analysis.

Insights for the Agile Investor titles are for sale at Amazon, BarnesandNoble.com, the Sony e-bookstore, FTPress.com, and InformIT.com. FT Press said more e-tailers will follow soon.
