Fox Chapel Publishing has announced a new nonfiction imprint, Curious Fox Books, which will release its first set of titles next year.

Known for its crafting titles that include hands-on activities, Fox Chapel began a children’s imprint, Happy Fox, in 2018, centered on books that highlight nature and climate change. The new imprint will focus on a wide range of topics, from peaceful protests, the history of Indigenous peoples, national parks, and more. The list will launch in spring 2024 with 30 nonfiction titles, as part of a new partnership with Purple Toad Publishing, an independent publishing house based in Kennett Square, Pa., a neighbor to Fox Chapel in Mount Joy, Pa.

“With Curious Fox, our goal is to ignite curiosity and inspire children to learn and explore the rich world around them through informative and engaging content,” David Miller, president of Fox Chapel, said in a statement. “We believe that Curious Fox Books has the power to make a positive and meaningful impact on children's education.”
