Endless Anger

Miller launches a spin-off series from her Monsters & Muses novels with this angsty, dark academia–inflected romance. Asher Anderson and Lucy Wolfe have been friends since childhood, and they both plan to attend Avernia College in Fury Hill, N.H., where Asher’s older sister, Quincy, is studying. After Quincy realizes the Andersons were one of the tiny college’s founding families, and that the crimes of their ancestors have put targets on Quincy and Asher’s backs, Asher’s parents persuade him to stay away, leaving Lucy to navigate a campus controlled by mysterious secret societies on her own. But when students start dropping dead, Asher fears for Lucy’s safety, reenrolls, and takes a position as her dorm’s RA to protect her. The body count is high and the violence is often graphic.
